Here’s a reel of development I did for the True Detective season 4 trailer. Done at BigStar.

Lightyear

This is a little setup I made for Pixar's Lightyear title sequence. My favorite detail is the laser hot points accurately sweep the contours of each letter to burn the etch. The particles are only born from those hot points as well. Glad to see this setup used to great effect throughout the wonderful sequence the team at Perception made, and even this test shot made it thru to final.
